What an incredible life I have lead thus far. When I think that I am almost turning 23, leaving the past 22 years in the dust, I am left a bit confused. I don't know if this happens to you, but looking at my life and all the blessings and challenges that I have walked through, overcome, or even created myself makes my life seems more like a movie than reality. Maybe it's more like a dream, so today's photo reel is a bit dreamy, inspired by all the people God placed in my life who have influenced me to become me. I have learned so many big and small things from each person I have interacted with or gotten to know. It's incredible. Humanity is insane yet beautifully incredible. Reflecting on my life makes me laugh, cringe, blush, but most of all, makes me smile in disbelief. I thank God so much for every day... even the days that totally and completely sucked! I am not perfect by any means and am always growing and transforming (especially this past month). I only hope that I can transform into the tool that God can use to truly make an impact on this earth for Him. Sometimes I am scared out of my socks to think about the future and what it means to become more of an adult, but then I remind myself that God is obviously by my side, and that I need not fear for the future. <3

"Be strong and corageous. Do not be afraid or terrified
because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you;
He will never leave you nor forsake you."
-- Deuteronomy 31:6

For today's look, I put on my most comfy tunic, and paired it with these gorgeous new earrings I got from Trades of Hope through representative Jess Argetsinger. I'm loving these earrings and the story behind them! They are fair trade and hand made from a women's group. This group is based in Kenya, offering employment to men and women (85% women) with disabilities. I love supporting organizations which employ those who have difficulty finding employment. This is an example of using purchasing power for social change! Definitely check out Trades of Hope, for Mother's Day gift ideas. If you are going to give your mama something special, why not give her something that supports marginalized communities that make beautiful products as well? :)

Alsooooo, I am officially starting this giveaway on my birthday this Thursday, but if you want to enter early, follow the directions in the Rafflecopter box below! ;) Best wishes

May You Not Forget to Give God Thanks in the Good Times,
Christine

    I love the Oceans Necklace (https://www.mytradesofhope.com/MemberToolsDotNet/ShoppingCartV3/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=18158&CatalogueID=208&PartyID=0&PartyGuestID=0&InternalUse=1&ProductGroupString=75.71&ReferringDealerID=813683) because it's really simple and the colors would go with a lot of the outfits I own!

  3. Pretty outfit and great earrings. Happy birthday! I'm turning 27 this year and adulthood is crazy, complicated, and beautiful, but I'm still a bit afraid of aging.

  4. Christine... I love how you talked about your life as looking like a movie... that's truly an interesting concept. Almost 23 years old, life is ever changing and ever growth. I was 23 when I first fell in love... it was a wonderful year... I hope you continue to have amazing years.

    Happy Birthday early ... I hope you have a really fun and happy day xox ♡♡♡

  6. What beautiful photos! I love your dress. <3

    Birthdays always get me really reflective, too. I'm a naturally nostalgic person, though, and our 20's is a really interesting time. It's the first time we're "real" adults - and that can be really exciting and totally terrifying at the same time.

    Anyway, I hope you had a good birthday, and thanks for stopping by my blog! <3
