Small Town Girl Got Flare

You know those times you pick up your camera and say to yourself in a quiet, timid, thought-like manner, " I really want to capture life through my lens today... is that too much to ask?"  Well, I would say this time was one of those times I succeeded!  Come into my thoughts and let me also introduce you to  DIY & Fashion blogger and friend, Rachel, from So Chic Style! She actually took the last two shoot for me, which you all loved!  This small town girl definitely showed me that talent is everywhere...
She is only 18, isn't she just a doll?
In small towns, yes, there are gravel roads believe-it-or-not!

"Dear people who don't understand BLOGGERS,  I would like to tell you that what we do is so much more than just writing aimlessly to nobody!"  Have you ever had someone say something like: "You blog?" followed by a confused, why-bother face?  If you have been blogging long enough, you definitely have!  You are not alone.  It is true that we blog to exchange ideas and styles with random people we don't know, but what people don't always realize it that our worldwide community of bloggers are life friends.  We support each other and give each other feedback so we can grow as we open our eyes to cultures around the world.  As young women(I think all my followers except maybe 3 are female), we need positive reinforcement, why not from an international network?  That is all I have to say on the matter.

Sex Slavery...  Isn't this automatically a shocking fear, sorrow, gratitude it's not you feeling? Well, I encountered someone this week who did not think it was a big issue.  Thoughts like this come from a lack of education on the issue of what sex slavery really is.  It also comes from the feeling that someone younger than you who is tricked into sex slavery then raped daily by many different people is more of a headline than a reality.  This is Everywhere! This is real.  Check out my other blog and email me if you want to join. Fashion Bloggers Against Social Injustice

$500 to help RESCUE child victims of sex slavery in Cambodia.  This is what I am trying to raise in the next 13 days.  Through [free-them], this money will help fund a rescue mission for children in Cambodia as well as place them in "recovery homes" and help pay for their therapy and living too! This $500 is not even a dent in what really needs to be raised, but every bit helps!
Please, help with even $5, DONATE HERE

You're so right, about what you were writing - I also made friends through blogging, and this whole thing is not just an aimless, senseless thing.
