The Concrete jungle

Today, I did a shoot with the beautiful Jas.
A bit about: loves her Indian culture, very creative, and picks up on things quite fast.  She usually does shoots for me, and helps me a lot with my blog by giving me feedback and suggestions.

I did this shoot on my college campus. It wasn't until I did this shoot that I saw beauty on campus.  I personally found the aesthetics of my campus uninviting and mundane, but after having done this shoot I see the different lines and angles that can be utilized for shoots such as the one here...at my school, The Concrete Jungle.

The rawness of the concrete leaves Jas as the center of interest.
What do you see when you look at this shoot?

I feel like so many of these pictures have great spaces to place words on, like the photo above, but that would take away from the rawness of the concrete.  It's great seeing the chips of paint on the base of these huge concrete cylinders, which by change match the hue of Jas' pants!

1 John 2:16-17
16For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man,
the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has
and does—comes not from the Father but from the world
17The world and its desires pass away,
but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

This is such an awesome shoot- I love the raw concrete as a background too, it draws your eye to the model instead :) These are beautiful pictures, I particularly love the one with Jas's arm on the wall and the second to last one :)
