Many people don't see blogging as I do. Taking pictures of ones self seems egocentric. I suppose it is because you have to be confident in your appearance and feel like you have something others would enjoy viewing. As I sit here eating my cereal, I compare blogging to scrapbooking. As a scrapbooker, I love taking different pieces of material and combining them in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Upon completion, I share this with others. It is not only the moments captured, but the ways they are presented, which allows the viewer to step into that moment in time and experience it with me.
This applies 2 blogging because each piece of an outfit tells a story. Each color and texture corresponds with a different part. I would never do a shoot like THIS from March, if I felt carelessly juvenile. In style diaries, I have the privilege to wear and capture moments to share with others around the world. It's a fun way to test my creativity, talk about my faith and inspire.
It's a joyous echo to be even half a ray of sunlight to even 1 viewer. After all, my goal in life is to be used by God and spread His love through any big or little talent I may have.
...and I know I am not the only blogger who feels this way.
I blog because it is my artistic expression. NOT my obsession for lust...

This adjustable camera and mint leaf ring are so fun for costume jewelry. I got them from RMS(and the LOVE necklace too), they allowd me to pick a few cutsie things for this post and my last post! Also, I went to Free People last week and got 2 new bottoms,including this one, and a pair of sunglasses (next post). Always wanted these pants- I invested this time. No more personal shopping for 3 months. not kidding.
